# llimphi-widget-tooltip Floating tooltip with anchor and clamping. Pure render: the widget receives the anchor (typically the bottom-centre of the element that triggers it), the viewport and the text, and returns an absolutely positioned `View` to hang from `view_overlay`. The app is responsible for: 1. Detecting hover over the element through `View::on_pointer_enter` plus a `Tween`/delay, so tooltips don't flicker as the pointer passes. 2. Storing the `Option` in its model. 3. Returning it from `view_overlay`. 4. Closing it with `View::on_pointer_leave` over the same element. No scrim is included — a tooltip is informative, not modal: clicks pass through to the main tree. (For interactive popovers use `llimphi-widget-modal` or the `context-menu`.) --- Part of **llimphi** — see [llimphi](../../README.md).
